CCTV Focus Here Again!
Recently, No.101 300,000dwt VLCC, a new generation ship built by DSIC of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) for Dynacom of Greece, was successfully launched 6 days ahead of undocking node schedule。
This project is a new generation of brand ship type with great market competitiveness. It is an important project for DSIC to deeply explore the Greek shipbuilding market.
The ship has total length of about 333 meters, width of 60 meters, deck area of more than 18,000 square meters, nearly three standard football fields. The molded depth is 30m, and the height from the bottom to the wheelhouse of the ship is close to the height of a 20-story building. The total length of cables used is more than 220 kilometers and the maximum load capacity is about 307,000dwt. Capable of carrying more than 2m barrels of crude oil at a draft of 20.5m, the new generation VLCC is a veritable behemoth. |
