On March 4, DSIC and China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd.(CSTC) named and delivered No.4 115,000dwt crude oil tanker built for China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. (CMES).
Feng Boming, vice general manager of China Merchants Group, Zhou Song, Party group member and chief accountant of China National Petroleum Corporation, Wang Yongxin, general manager of CMES, Xu Hui and Hu Bin, vice general managers of CMES, Wang Yongliang, director of Economic Operation Department of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited(CSSC) and chairman of China National Heavy Industry Corporation (CNHIC), Wu Aijun, vice general manager of CSTC, Yang Zhizhong, Han Dongwang, and Lin Jiming, leaders of DSIC, and directors of relevant/related departments, attended the delivery and naming ceremony. Mr. Zhang Jin, secretary of the Communist Youth League of China, cut the cable for the new vessel.
The ship is the first ship of a new generation of green Aframax crude oil tankers built by Dalian Shipbuilding for China Merchants Shipbuilding, using conventional fuel, with an overall length of about 243 meters, a beam of 44 meters, and capable of carrying about 800,000 barrels of crude oil. The design team of Dalian Shipbuilding has worked closely with the shipowner, focusing on improving the ship's operational performance, optimizing the ship's main scale, improving the ship's ability to navigate in wind and waves, and achieving world-class overall performance. It meets the latest specification rules, the highest standards for NOx and SOx emissions, IMO EEDI Phase III index requirements, EU Shipbreaking Convention, the latest requirements of big oil companies, etc. It has excellent safety and environmental protection, good portability, green ecology and other characteristics. At the same time, the ship is designed for the first time with a soil-less vegetable planting ecosystem, so that the crew can plant fresh vegetables on their own, making their lives greener and healthier. This humanized design highlights China Merchants Ship's care and concern for the life of the crew, and effectively enhances the sense of well-being of the crew's life.
On March 4, steel cutting for No. 5 175,000m3 LNG carrier.
The 175,000m3 LNG carrier No.3 will be constructed at 2-1 dock and 2-3 dock in the same period of time for the bow and stern halves respectively, and finally the main hull will be completed by the construction mode of docking of the two major sections, which will further improve the construction efficiency and product construction quality through the optimization and upgrading of the construction mode.
The 175,000m3 LNG carrier No.5 is the first ship of Dalian Shipbuilding's new generation of energy-saving and environmentally friendly LNG carriers, and will also be the mother ship of all future LNG carriers. This ship type will adopt the innovative construction mode of two-stage construction for the first time. In the first stage, priority will be given to carry out the parallel body of the cargo hold to be built together, and the ballast tank program test will be completed at the quay stage to start the construction of the cargo enclosure system in advance to ensure that the construction cycle will be strongly guaranteed, and then carry out the nacelle section and the bow section to be built together in the second stage to greatly shorten the whole ship's submerged construction cycle, and ultimately realize the node of LNG carriers. This can greatly shorten the underwater construction cycle of the whole ship and finally realize the node of LNG carrier and form the batch construction capacity.
On March 3, DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Limited (SHGSIC) made a triumph on the sea trial of No.7 7100TEU container ship built for Greek shipowner Danaos Shipping Co.
During the sea trial, the sea trial team completed all the inspection items after 53 hours of efficient work, and the whole sea trial process took 120 hours, with the main engine running for 93 hours. All the performance indexes are better than the technical specification and specification requirements, and the speed test even reached 20.77 knots, exceeding the design contract index. At the same time, the ship also performed well in terms of fuel consumption, vibration, noise, etc., and won the unanimous praise of the shipowner and ship inspection. |
