No.3 85,000dwt Bulk Carrier

On June 18, No.3 85,000dwt bulk carrier built by DSIC Tianjin for Golden Ocean Group Limited was named "GOLDEN WAVE" and delivered 30 days ahead of the annual plan and 135 days ahead of the contract period, marking that DSIC Tianjin has already possessed the "double lines and double docks" joint shipbuilding capability.

This ship is a new generation of Panamax green bulk carrier, with conventional fuel power, suitable for unlimited navigation area, meeting the latest specification requirements and various pollutant gas emission standards, loading capacity, speed, fuel consumption and other performance and economic indicators are leading level in China, and meets the energy-saving and environmental protection requirements of the whole life cycle, from design to operation and other stages. It is a green ship in the whole life cycle from design to operation, meeting the requirements of energy saving and environmental protection.

During the construction process, the ship is closely linked in all aspects from production design, site periodic arrangement, to section general assembly, final assembly and closing, equipment debugging, and shaft and rudder system installation. It only took 48 days from undocking to sea trial, 30 days ahead of the annual plan, only 4 days for sea trial, and all inspection items were qualified once, achieving 100% success rate of inspection.

No.3  65,000dwt Bulk Carrier

Recently, DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Limited (SHGSIC) successfully completed sea trial of No.3 65,000dwt bulk carrier built for CITIC Financial Leasing Co., Ltd..

The integrity of the ship was 97.9 points before the trial, and the status was significantly improved. Under the careful planning of the project team and relevant departments, the trial flight took only 67.5 hours, the main engine ran for 48 hours, and the inspection took 46 hours. All test items passed all at once. All ship performance indicators such as speed and fuel consumption meet the requirements of the technical specifications and have received unanimous praise from the shipowner and ship inspection.

Type B LNG bunker

Recently,  DSIC Equipment Manufacturing Co., LTD(DSICEM) has successfully completed the construction of type B bunker for No. 9, No. 10 and No. 11 LNG fueled 16,000TEU container ships. The main structure of type B bunker of No.12 ship has realized the close molding, and the construction of type B bunker segments of No.13 ship is steadily progressing. The construction of various products made new breakthroughs in innovative technology and lean shipbuilding.

In the construction of type B bunker of No.9 LNG fueled 16,000TEU container ship, DSICEM fully adopted phased array ultrasonic inspection technology for the first time, which reduced the time spent on flaw detection, lowered the impact on the project's welding construction, improved the accuracy and reliability of the inspection, and enhanced the production efficiency. In view of the special requirements of B-type cabin construction, combined with the demand for closing, laminated wood installation, insulation installation and other operations, in-depth discussion and practice, successfully reduced the number of whole cabin jacking from the original plan of 4 times to 2 times, which not only reduced the input cost of the project, but also lowered safety risks, achieving improved construction quality and efficiency.
