On June 8, the first 85,000dwt bulk carrier built by Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Corporation (SSIC) for CSSC Leasing was named "Transcenden Star" and delivered. The 85,000dwt bulk carrier series is the main brand of SSIC, which is widely praised and favored by shipping customers for its excellent performance, economy and environmental protection.
During the construction of the ship, all units worked in unity and cooperation, reasonably allocated resources, and made every effort to shorten the construction period of important nodes such as commencement, bottom laying, launching, sea trial and delivery. In order to avoid the impact of the epidemic, the engineering staff communicated and coordinated with the service provider by means of video connection, and independently completed the commissioning and acceptance of more than 10 systems, such as emergency generator, sewage treatment, oil-water separator, etc. Moreover, important test items such as generator and generator SCR function and efficiency commissioning were completed on time or ahead of schedule, which greatly improved the efficiency. Among them, it only took 73 days from launching to sea trial, and the sea trial integrity was the highest score for the first ship of newly built ships in recent years. The project progress and quality have been highly evaluated by the shipowner.
Recently, No.9 85,000dwt bulk carrier built by SSIC for Avic Leasing left port for sea trial three days ahead of schedule.
At present, the painting works and all terminal delivery-check items of the ship have been completed. The ballast water treatment device sampling has been completed at the dock under the new specification requirements for the first time. The shipowner is very satisfied with the status before sea trial. |
