Multiple nodes coming
Recently, No.22 and No.24 85,000dwt bulk carriers built by DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Limited (SHGSIC) for Golden Ocean Group Limited were successfully undocked, and No.26 and No.27 85,000dwt bulk carriers completed semi floating.
Twin ships out of dock
No.22 and No.24 85,000dwt bulk carriers successfully completed the main engine lifting and engine room top section lifting of the two ships 6 days before launch, which greatly improved the continuity of operation in dock and ensured the timely implementation of undocking nodes.
No.22 ship has realized such projects as in-dock power generator start, in-dock power steering, pressure external inspection of engine room piping, and engine room sealing and painting before launch, etc.. The main cable pipes on deck and hydraulic pipes around the hatch have also been successfully handed over for pressure inspection, further improving the integrity of undocking.
The structure outfitting inspection of all ballast tanks, cargo tanks and oil tanks of No.24 ship have been completed, and all procedures have been transferred to sequence painting. The pressure and tandem washing of main cable pipes on deck and hydraulic pipes around the hatch have been submitted for inspection. The main engine external flushing and testing have been qualified, and the steel pad of anchor machine has been submitted for inspection.
Semi floating
In order to ensure the smooth semi floating of No.26 and No.27 ships, all departments of SHGSIC strictly control the technical condition of the ships, make all technical support and safety preparation, and successfully complete the semi floating task of double ships. In 2023, SHGSIC will scientifically organize production in groups, in order, and on demand, and speed up step by step. In March, we realized six production nodes: two ships in construction, two ships out of dock and two ships floating. SHGSIC will make full efforts to set off a new round of production climax, and contribute to the high quality development of DSIC. |
