Trial voyage
On July 3, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd.(DSIC) of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited(CSSC) carried out fuel mode sea trial of the first large-scale LNG fueled 16,000TEU container ship No. 10 built for Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A.(MSC) ahead of the annual schedule.
During the underwater mooring stage of the ship, the Assembly Department II and the project team carefully organized and coordinated the 93 routine commissioning inspection items, and more than 96% of the routine alarm points of the whole vessel were completed. The generator adopts fuel oil and LNG dual-fuel power, with many commissioning projects and long cycle. In order to ensure that the rest of the commissioning projects can be carried out normally, the Assembly Department 2 studied the drawings in depth, and through calculations and seeking the consent of the electric panel service provider, completed for the first time the independent power supply of two-way shore power for the living area electric panel and cabin electric panel of this series of ship, thus realizing the early commencement of the commissioning projects of the living area and the deck area, and saving the generator's fuel consumption for about 15 days.
Before the sea trial, all binding components of the ship were installed; 22 ballast tanks strength inspection were completed; all the welded joints of the dual-fuel and related systems were completed and flaw detection was completed; all the installation tests of the gas system, such as pressure weighing and blowing, were completed; 22 systems related to the dual-fuel debugging were completed and 6 were completed in the pre-commissioning, which provided a strong guarantee for the dual-fuel debugging of the gas refueling after the regular sea trial cycle.
FPSO-10 parallel body project is progressing in orderly manner.
Since the construction of FPSO-10 parallel body project, Final Assembly Department 3 has strengthened the whole process of quality management, boosted cost reduction and efficiency, and realized the parallel body construction node 5 days ahead of the annual plan. During the construction period, FPSO-3 kept a close eye on the production schedule, paid close attention to the product quality, and carried out the TQM activity of "Integrity and Quality" jointly with the ship owner and ship inspection. According to the project characteristics and construction progress to develop appropriate programs, carry out the whole process of quality management, strengthen the process control, adhere to the quality inspection, to promote the hull, outfitting once the inspection pass rate of 100%, by the shipowner, the ship inspection of praise.
On the eve of July 1, Final Assembly Department 3 undertook the construction of 25 subsections. In order to ensure that the newly undertaken subsections are transferred to the site for construction, the FPSO-10 project construction team rose to the challenge, re-programmed the plan, and renewed the site layout to meet the demand for closing. Meanwhile, summarizing the advantages and experience of the previous construction, the team sorted out the site resources according to the crane load, and ensured that the relative labor load for painting and hull was sufficient, so as to push forward the project with high efficiency, high quality, and high standard to be docked on schedule.
Delivery
On July 2, the 37,000dwt Lake cargo ship "POLSTEAM LEBSKO" built by DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Limited (SHGSIC) was delivered for Polish PZM Company.
Before the ship was launched, all the nacelle systems were reported for inspection, and all the painting of the bottom ballast tanks was completed. Welding of the generator base at the stage of 1000 sections assembly was realized, which shortened the cycle of nacelle molding in the dock and laid a solid foundation for the underwater commissioning. During the sea trial, the ship's performance indexes such as speed and fuel consumption all met the requirements of technical specifications, and the delivery status was significantly improved compared with the previous ship, which was praised by the shipowner and ship inspection. |
