DSIC overcame the difficulties of the epidemic, the difficulty of starting production and the number of new products, and exceeded the annual delivery target.It made a breakthrough in the field of large clean energy powered ships and delivered the world's first LNG dual-fuel VLCC; The comprehensive performance index of the second generation of sail VLCC is the first class in the world, setting up a new generation of energy-saving ship model;DSIC delivered China's first self-designed and built 8,500 cubic meter LNG refueling vessel successfully, which was the first time that both fuel and gas mode tests were completed in a trial voyage.

Seizing the market opportunity, the DSIC exceeded the annual business target, reaching a new high in nine years, with a year-on-year growth of 71.3%, and basically completed the tasks of waiting ship slots for each base during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Shipowners' ability to perform contracts and ship prices have been significantly improved, with high-end ship types accounting for 74% by amount and bulk orders accounting for 98%. By carrying out pre-inspection, the vessel "zero problem" acceptance delivery is realized. We carried out separate line management of military repair and manufacturing, and advanced high-quality military equipment repair in different places, and successfully completed ship repair tasks.

The deepening reform, transformation and upgrading of various bases of DSIC have achieved remarkable results. The first order of LNG carriers independently developed by the headquarter has been broken through, and contracts of six ships have taken effect, realizing batch orders for iterative upgrading of LNG carriers. DSIC Tianjin has completed the whole production process, exceeded the production of an 85,000 ton bulk carrier, reached a batch of 16 thousand TEU container ships, and achieved the first breakthrough of methanol dual fuel container ships in China. DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Corporation has achieved profitability for three consecutive years, with a batch of 35 bulk carriers, providing support for production operations and cost reduction and efficiency.
