On March 11, DSIC and China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd.(CSTC) named and delivered No.4 7100TEU container vessel for AL Group 50 days ahead of the contract delivery date.
Friedrich Bunnemann, managing director of AL, Hu Kai, general manager of CSTC, Lin Jiming, deputy general manager of DSIC, and directors of relevant units attended the ceremony. Ms. Carla Paulsdorff named the vessel "ALS JUNO".
With overall length of about 255 meters, beam of 42.8 meters, and depth of 24.6 meters, the ship can carry more than 7100 standard containers, and has good portability and seaworthiness, a flexible range of applications, excellent rapidity indexes, and a significant energy-saving effect, it meets the requirements of the International Maritime Organization's Tier III emission standards and the third stage of the EEDI standards, and has the symbols of "Ammonia fuel Ready level 1C" and "Methanol Fuel Ready level 1C" of the ABS Classification Society.
