In the first half of this year, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd.(DSIC) of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited(CSSC) continued to make efforts in the aspects of business undertaking, lean production and management improvement, and delivered 13 ships and marine products, completing 50% of the annual plan; signing and taking effect of 24 ships and marine products, over completing the annual undertaking tasks, and the production plan has been scheduled to 2028.
DSIC actively planned the adjustment of line schedule, production speed up and insertion of ship to increase production, to improve the utilization rate of resources, compared with the line schedule at the end of 2023, the economic efficiency of insertion of ship orders improved significantly. The order structure was upgraded in the direction of medium-high-end and batch, with medium-high-end ship types accounting for 93% and batch products accounting for 97%, among which 14 new VLCCs were signed, accounting for 27% of the global number of new VLCCs, and the market share of the main built ship types was further improved.
Dalian Shipbuilding focuses on key projects to improve the quality and efficiency of the development of the main industry, highlighting value creation, the initial formation of the batch construction mode of Dalian base, the continuous improvement of the production efficiency of Shanhaiguan base, and the continuous compression of the key cycle of key vessels in Tianjin base.
Focusing on low-carbon and zero-carbon emission vessels, Dalian Shipbuilding carried out low-carbon and zero-carbon R&D and design focusing on the application of low-carbon and zero-carbon fuels of methanol and liquid ammonia, and at the same time, carried out the design of 14 new products, of which the production design of 4 new products was carried out in parallel. |
