Encouraging news! DSIC has achieved smoothly the lighting milestone.

On 12thFeb 2020, the third day after resumption of work, DSIC completed smoothly the lighting milestone task on 325K ton ore carrier # 9 built for SK Group and will carry out the production of stern tube and rudder post.

To ensure lighting after the Spring Festival, DSIC has planned in advance, arranged carefully, and communicated actively with the ship owner and surveyor. The ship has reached the lighting condition before errection of the bow and stern sections. The hull welding in the Engine Room area and hot-work correction work were all completed. The seats of major auxiliary machinery were already welded in the Engine Room and large equipment have been installed.
