On February 15, No.1 7100TEU container ship built by DSIC for German AL Maritime Holding was out of dock.

The ship has total length of about 255 meters, moulded width of 42.8 meters, and moulded depth of 24.6 meters. It can carry more than 7100 standard containers. It has single main engine and propeller, straight bow, square stern, open air full-access deck, and single island superstructure. It has good port suitability and seaworthiness. With flexible application range, excellent rapidity indicator, the ship has significant energy-saving and environmental protection performance advantages meeting IMO Tier III emission standard and EEDI Stage III standard.
This ship is the first to use "Ammonia Fuel Ready Level 1C" symbol of ABS classification society. With independently designed ammonia fuel preparation technical scheme, the ship is preparing for the future modification of ammonia fuel power to meet the requirements of low carbon emissions.
High efficiency shipbuilding strive to protect nodes
During construction, No.2 Department of Slipway Erection refined the division of personnel responsibilities, cooperated closely with the project team, focused on planning and implementing the efficiency improvement, installation integrity and key process cycle of the large cranes based on the product schedule, and improved the working efficiency of the large crane through measures such as joint inspection and simulated loading before block assembly. In general assembly stage, all cable laying, refrigerated socket box and cargo hold fan installation and wiring were realized for the cargo hold transverse wall of the ship. Breaking the conventional construction method, a large amount of accessory installation was completed in advance at the main engine manufacturer. The "lightweight three-dimensional model" was used to handle the difficulties in main engine installation beforehand, and with "three hooks within two days" main engine assembly installation was realized for the first time. Rudder propeller installation, side thrusters construction, etc. are completed in accordance with the schedule to ensure the production cycle, greatly improving the construction speed in dock. During the Spring Festival, management personnel at all levels were assigned to guard the progress of daily plan, and strived to complete the key sections such as deck binding, bridge installation, building closure, exterior board painting, effectively ensuring the completion of docking node on schedule.
