On March 2, No.18 85,000dwt bulk carrier built for FORTUNE OCEAN SHIPPING was named and delivered by DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Corporation (SHGSIC).
Sun Xingtao, president of FORTUNE OCEAN SHIPPING, Ding Yi, deputy general manager of DSIC, and directors of relevant departments attended the ceremony. Ms. Wang Wanhui named the ship "XING LE HAI".
This ship has total length of 227.2 meters, width of 36 meters, depth of 20.35 meters, design draft of 11.5 meters, and deadweight of 84,900 tons. It is classified as American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). It has the advantages of strong port adaptability, good economy, superior performance, green environmental protection, energy conservation and high efficiency, and its performance indicators have reached international advanced level, winning great praise from shipowners. During the construction process of the ship, SHGSIC fully absorbed the rich construction experience of the previous ships, achieving the highest level of construction quality and construction cycle in the industry. All sea trial tests were passed once, and all the parameters, performance, and technical indicators met the specification requirements.
