Undocking
On June 20th, DSIC undocked No.2 7100TEU container ship built for German AL Maritime Holding.
During the construction of the ship, the project team and the second part of the berth overcame the difficulties of off-site operation and took the integrity of the whole ship out of dock as the focus of construction work. The project team coordinated the external production resources, the second part of the ship berth closely followed the production plan, and effectively deployed the construction forces. The construction personnel worked continuously on the construction site of the rudder system. The load utility of the generator and emergency generator, the utility of the boiler, the utility of the fuel unit of the main and auxiliary engines, and the utility of the oil tank quick closing valve system had been completed when they left the dock. Inspection of installation tightness of all piping systems in engine room and deck and inspection of oil in the first stage of main lubricating oil; demolition of scaffolding around engine room and main building; inspection of paint film before sealing of ballast tank of the whole ship; completion of paint construction of all cabin entrance walls; inspection of test tank of the whole ship and paint film of the vertical wall of 1-6 cargo tank; the strength of all fuel tanks in the dock and cleaning and inspection before sealing are realized for the first time; and the discharge status is greatly improved. Create favorable conditions for the ship to quickly promote the next stage of production.
Delivery
On the same day, Shanchuan Heavy Industry delivered No.24 85,000dwt bulk carrier for GOLDEN OCEAN GROUP Ltd..
The ship has an overall length of 227.2 meters, a beam of 36 meters, a depth of 20.35 meters, a design draught of 11.5 meters, a speed of 14.1 knots, seven cargo holds, a cargo hold capacity of about 105,000 cubic meters, and it has been classed by ABS. It meets the requirements of Tier III emission standard of International Maritime Organization, and has the features of fast speed, low energy consumption, strong adaptability, etc. It has reached the world level of the same type of ship in terms of energy consumption index, environmental protection performance and reliability requirements.
During the construction process of the ship, all the participating departments overcame many difficulties and kept a close eye on the production nodes and integrity targets to ensure that the major nodes were completed on schedule. During the trial voyage, the participants were carefully organized, and all the performance indexes of the inspection items were better than the technical requirements, which won the unanimous praise of the shipowner and ship inspection. |
