On November 11, No.16 85000-ton bulk carrier built by Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry CO., LTD for Dalian Haixing Company was successfully signed and delivered in 6 days ahead of schedule, marking the completion of the annual production target of 12 ships 50 days in advance.

Introduction of ship type
With a total length of 227.2 meters and a designed speed of 14.1 knots, the bulk carrier is classified into CCS and flagged in Singapore. The main engine and main generator meet the IMO Tier III emission standards, featuring fast sailing speed, low energy consumption and strong adaptability. In terms of energy consumption index, environmental performance and reliability requirements, the ship has reached the world level of the same type of ship.

Since the beginning of this year, the impact of the epidemic has brought great challenges to shipbuilding production of Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry CO., LTD. The cadres and staff gave full play to the spirit of “Strive hard and make great effort”, with meticulous organization and initiative, not relying on others and overcoming difficulties, ensured the trial voyage and delivery node in the emergency period.
The whole docking period of the ship has been greatly shortened, the integrity in the dock has been effectively improved, and the inspection rate of the engine room piping system has reached 85%. In recent years, the generator load and SCR function have been completed for the first time in the dock, and the power has been opened in the hatch cover dock, the anchor chain has been embarked in the dock, and the launching integrity has been further improved. The integrity of the trial was good, and the impact of the epidemic was effectively overcome. The trial was completed 5 days ahead of schedule. |
